Chemistry professor Cynthia Larive is one of 13 UCR researchers recognized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science as a 2008 AAAS fellow. Larive received this recognition for significant contributions in applying NMR diffusion measurements to characterize complex mixtures, polydisperse samples, and ligand-protein interactions.

Congratulations to John Limtiaco for winning one of six US Pharmacopeia Graduate Fellowships. These awards promote education and training of Fellows in the sciences that are applicable to the standardization of drugs, food ingredients, dietary supplements, and other applicable healthcare articles. John is a third-year graduate student in the Larive research group.
