Yadong Yin has been selected to receive a 3M Nontenured Faculty Award, which recognizes outstanding new faculty for the quality and pertinence of their research. The award includes $15K/year in research grant support. <read more>
Chemistry Chairperson Eric Chronister and Professor of Biochemistry and Chemistry Richard Debus have been named fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2009. <read more>
The National Science Foundation awarded Professor Yadong Yin a CAREER award to support his work on the development of new fabrication methods for magnetically tunable photonic crystal structures and to explore their applications. <read more>
