Faculty Positions

New Faculty Searches in Chemistry (2019):

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for one Faculty positions in the broad area of Chemistry. 

Research Faculty are expected to develop an internationally recognized and externally funded research program, develop and teach graduate and undergraduate courses, advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and undertake service activities. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in chemistry or a related field, a record of original research accomplishments, and the potential to develop a successful independent research program. Preference will be given to applicants whose research interests complement those of existing faculty and strengthen campus strategic initiatives, including the brain initiative.

Applications should include a full curriculum vitae, a description of proposed research, teaching philosophy and letters from three professional references. A statement addressing potential contributions of the applicant to diversity may be included. Review of applications will begin during the fall, with appointment to begin July 1, 2019.
