Postdoctoral Scholars – Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis
A postdoctoral research position is available in the group of Professor Richard Schrock at the University of California at Riverside, with a starting date as soon as June 3, 2019. The initial position is for one year, with possible extension based on satisfactory performance.
The research topic will be synthesis and chemistry of molybdenum alkylidene complexes and their potential as catalysts for olefin metathesis. The candidate should have experience in the synthesis and handling of air-sensitive compounds, mechanistic studies, and catalysis.
Candidates should have obtained their Ph.D. in organometallic chemistry or in a closely related research area. Interested candidates should contact Professor R. R. Schrock directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
