Professor Ludwig Bartels has received the annual faculty award for Commitment to Graduate Diversity. The selection committee was impressed with his extraordinary willingness to mentor students who might otherwise have been overlooked in the admission process. The committee was equally impressed with the record of achievement these students have garnered under Dr. Bartels tutelage.
